Eloping today isn’t about running off in secret—it’s about choosing a wedding experience that’s intentional, personal, and free from expectations. For couples over 40, that means celebrating love on your terms—without the pressure of tradition or the need for a big production, or a quick visit to the courthouse.
Choosing to elope means saying goodbye to the stress of planning a big wedding and opening up a world of endless possibilities for your day. You're probably thinking, "This sounds amazing, but how does it all come together?"
That’s where I come in! I'm here to help you dream, plan, and bring your vision to life—right down to the smallest details. I'm also here to help with the big details, whether it’s a picnic on the lake, kayaking, a float plane tour, a helicopter ride to an ice field in Alaska, or saying your vows on a cliff in Yosemite, we can make it happen.
So take a deep breath, relax, and celebrate your choice to embrace a different kind of adventure—one that’s all about what YOU want, not what’s expected.

Elopements can just be the couple or shared with a few close friends and family, consisting of 5-10 guests depending on the restrictions of the planned location. Elopements take place somewhere in nature, including national parks that will usually require permits and making arrangements well in advance.
Intimate weddings can range from 10-25 guests depending on the restrictions of the location. Couples may choose to capture their ceremony more like an elopement with a celebration of more guests later in the day. Intimate weddings may take place somewhere out in nature or at a small wedding venue.

It all depends on what your vision of your day looks like. If you are having a quick ceremony and only want a few images of sharing your vows and portraits, a four hour session is plenty.
However, if you want to have a relaxed day and a bit of adventure including getting ready, first look, family portraits, and dancing under the stars as you end your day, you will want to look for a 8-12 hour timeline to ensure you get photos of your entire day.
Yes! I travel all over the country to capture love stories. Let me know what location you're looking at, or if you're still unsure, I can help you decide!
